Michael Ward has been working with FileMaker for over 30 years starting with FileMaker II to create a Custom App for his photography studio that tracked all aspects of the business.

Having spent time lecturing in information technology and marketing at Swinburne University (Melbourne, Australia) Michael now uses his business and IT skills to develop workflow solutions and Custom Apps for small businesses.

Michael’s passion lies in developing outstanding solutions that save his clients time and money.

He has a keen interest in connecting FileMaker Custom Apps to external sources using the best methods available.

Michael holds a B.Bus with majors in Marketing and Information Technology and was awarded the Orica prize for best final year student in computing by Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia.

He is a member of the FileMaker Business Alliance and is active in the FileMaker Community. He has received FileMaker Certification from version 7 to 16.

Michael is a past presenter at the annual FileMaker Developer Conferences and speaks regularly at Melbourne’s Macintosh User Group.

Michael is also a keen rally driver and is the principal of michaelwardrallysport.
